Occlusal problems can commonly present as headaches or migraines. People who grind or clench their teeth are most at risk. A simple occlusal examination will determine if you are such a patient and often a night splint can solve most tmj pain and prevent future wear or fractures of your teeth.

ROOT CANAL TREATMENT

Root canal treatment enables a badly broken down or infected tooth to be saved. Typically the pulp (nerve) in a badly broken down tooth can be removed allowing the body to repair any damage done to the surrounding area. This can take several visits in which time sterile medicaments are placed in the tooth to accelerate healing.

Once the root canal is complete its best to place a crown to prevent further fractures and give the tooth a natural appearance.
